Making Your Reality

As a full-time Patient Care Technician at Baylor Scott & White Hospital, I’ve had the opportunity to engage directly with patients, gaining invaluable experience in a clinical environment. This role has not only deepened my understanding of patient care but also highlighted the importance of compassion and communication in addressing the vulnerability patients experience in a hospital setting. Through this position, I’ve strengthened my commitment to medicine while mastering the balance between full-time work and school.

I work with a team of doctors at AlfredAI, an AI-healthcare startup, to research behavioral patterns in patients and develop a questionnaire to categorize them. I explore how socioeconomic status, behavioral archetypes, and stages of change influence behavior. Using Python, I am coding a generative AI chatbot that classifies users and provides personalized nudges. I have experience working in labs across a range of disciplines, from Synthetic Biology to Organic Chemistry. I'm deeply passionate about the innovative nature of research and look forward to applying these methods in various aspects of my life. When I'm not studying, reading, or working in the lab, you can often find me playing basketball with friends. I am hoping that this intramural season, we will win the championship!
